Accessibility statement

    Last updated: 2 May 2026

Howell Technology Ltd is committed to making howtech.uk accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology.

    Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

    Things we do

    • Semantic HTML and ARIA where appropriate
    • Keyboard-navigable layouts with a "Skip to main content" link
    • Visible focus indicators on interactive elements
    • Alt text on meaningful images
    • Sufficient colour contrast in our design system
    • Responsive layout from 320px upwards

    Known limitations

Some embedded third-party widgets (e.g. the Cyber Essentials badge in the footer, HubSpot forms when loaded) may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA. We're working with those vendors to improve.
